To me, Bittersweet is a complex feeling of happiness and disappointment. By using color, the figures expresses each individual emotion that is depicted to be "mixed feelings". The yellow being joyful, red showing as anger, and sad evoking as sadness. The use of blending yellow, red and blue in the figures was to embrace the feelings almost overlapping each other. It is beautiful to describe how we feel in a symbolic and colorful way.
